ApplicationACL

ApplicationACL is an open-source permissions class. It is designed to interface with existing user and group tables, and allow the administrator to assign permissions to each user or group, and then implement those permission on his or her site.

The application has the following features:

• Accept any database object, provided the database object contains a method that executes a query and returns a MySQL resource.
• Allows for use of user-based permissions, group based permissions, or both.
• Contains a simple, easy to use configuration file defining constants for the application.
• Requires little modification of your existing structure before implementation.

This application is being presented at ZendCon 2008 in Santa Clara, California.
